Banff and Lake Louise Tourism has hired us to design and conduct a survey of local residents. The purpose of the survey is to learn what residents of Banff and Lake Louise think about tourism. For example, we want to understand what they perceive as the benefits and drawbacks of tourism, and whether local residents have positive or negative interactions with visitors to the area.

As with any survey, we want to make sure that we are hearing from a representative group of residents. To help make sure that we do, we ask a small number of demographic questions such as gender, approximate age, and approximate income.

The survey is completely anonymous: It is not possible for anyone at Politikos Research, or Banff and Lake Louise Tourism, to identify people who answer the survey. There are a total of 15 questions on the survey, and the survey takes roughly 10 minutes to complete.
